Microns
A micron µm is a thickness measurement. 1µm = 0.0010mm. Usually used in the thickness measurement of polythene, such as polythene aprons, polythene overshoes, etc.


Ply
A ply Ply is a thickness measurement made up from layers. 1ply = 1 layer of material. Used in the thickness measurement of paper and sheet products such as paper towels, wipes, toiler roll etc.
GSM
A GSM gsm is a thickness weight measurement for material. 10gsm = 10 grams per square metre of material. Used in the weight thickness measurement of fibrous material such as wipes and certain paper types.
Fluid Ounce
A fluid ouncefl. oz. is an imperial volume measurement. 10fl.oz = 295.7ml. Used in the volume measurement of liquids and area capacity, such as cleaning chemicals, hand gel etc.
Millilitres
A millilitre ml is a volume and capacity measurement. 1000ml = 1 Litre (L). Used in the volume measurement of liquids and area capacity, such as cleaning chemicals, hand gel etc.
Litres
A litre L is a volume and capacity measurement. 1 Litre = 1.76 pints. Used in the volume measurement of liquids and area capacity, such as cleaning chemicals and waste sack capacity.
Millimetres
A millimetre mm is a length measurement. 1mm = 0.039 inches. Used in the measurement of lengths, widths, depths and heights.
Centimetres
A centimetre cm is a length measurement. 1cm = 0.39 inches. Used in the measurement of lengths, widths, depths and heights. Also used in surface area measurement.
Metres
A metre m is a length measurement. 1m = 3.28 feet Used in the measurement of lengths, widths, depths and heights. Also used in surface area measurement.
